The City of Wilmington and Wilmington Parks & Rec are working hard to revitalize the city. A new brand identity to better represent their image and efforts has energized staff and the community and proved out the city's promise.
Both the city and parks division had engaged previous designers to help them with the logo design that didn't meet expectations. The biggest disconnect was not understanding the brand, the message, and the objectives.
Taking the time to fully understand goals, the targets and their unique offering resulted in alignment through the whole process.
